Nancy J Wampler, 72, of Graysville, went to be with her Lord after a long struggle with Alzheimer's on September 8, 2018. She was born December 3, 1945, in Trimble, IL to Clinton and Bette Correll. Nancy graduated from Hutsonville High School in 1964 and graduated from Lockyear Business College in 1965. She married the love of her life Duane Wampler on December 16, 1966. She was employed by CIPS Power Station and D. Wampler Farms, Inc. She was a devoted, loving, and incredible wife and mother. She was an avid doll and Cherished Teddy collector. She was an amazing cook, including her sour dough bread. Nancy always saw good in everyone. She was preceded in death by both her parents and a son Carl.
Survivors include her husband Duane, a son Daron and his wife Candy, a daughter Amanda Estey, grandkids Ethan and Emerson Estey and Brooke and Courtney Lueking.
Services will be at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, with Rev. Tim Lueking officiating, at Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. The family suggest that if friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or the Sullivan Humane Shelter. Envelopes will be at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
