Nita Jennings, 85, of Wilfred passed away at her residence on December 14, 2018. She was born in Shelburn, on July 14, 1933 to Hershel Jennings and Lethia (McKinney) Jennings. She was a 1951 graduate of Shelburn High School and had retired from Merchants Bank. Nita was active in the Shelburn Senior Citizens group, loved Colt's football, Pacer's basketball, and still had her motorcycle endorsement on her driver's license. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Cunningham, brothers Denzil Jennings, Byrle Jennings, Gerald Jennings and a sister Reba Chambers.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Marge Brown, Philip Jennings, Wayne Jennings, Kahlene Stotts, Keith Chambers, and Kevin Chambers.
Services for Nita will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev Norman Santus officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg. The family suggest that if friends, so desire memorial contributions may be made to the Shelburn Senior Citizens, 16 East Mill St. Shelburn IN 47879
