Patsy Wells

Patsy L (Saucerman) Wells, 79, of Sullivan passed away on May 11, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. She was born in Sullivan County on February 6, 1938 to Robert Samuel Saucerman and Geneva Jordan Saucerman. Patsy was the Matriarch of her family, a Master Gardner and a member of the Elks Lodge, where she was Club Champion. She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Bruce Hall Sr. in 1969, her second husband Charles Henry "Chuck" Wells in 2011, and her sister Barbara Swango in 2010.

Survivors include a son Donald and his wife Marcia of Mooresville, daughters Sherri Hall of Sullivan, LaSinda Hall and her partner Bryan Lutz both of Lake Alfred, FL, a step daughter Simone Gehrke of Terre Haute, her three brothers Bob, Mike, and Barney Saucerman of Florida, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday May 15, 2017 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hammond officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation in Patsy's name. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Interment will be in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan.
