Patti Sue Brodie

Patti Sue Brodie, 56, of Sullivan passed away in her residence at 6:50pm Saturday, January 3, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born January 19, 1958 to Jerry Lee Walker and Wanda Bennett Walker. Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister Deanna Mills. Patti is survived by her husband Charles "Chuck" Brodie, her children Stacy Wright (Jeff Hancock) of Sullivan, Jeff McCullough (Brittany Spangenberg), Lacey McCullough (Shannon Trueblood) of Sullivan , and Aaron Barbarick (Taylor Gilbert) of Carlisle. Step-children Gary McManigell (Jeannie Banfer) of Florida, Brian Brodie (Beverly), Chuck Brodie (Robin), Norman Parnell (Tarah) of Sullivan, Gene Parnell (Jennifer Lloyd) of Alabama, Jerry Brodie (Sarah) of Sullivan, siblings Sandra Walker of Hymera, Carol Jernigan of Jasonville, Steve Clark (Betty) of Fairbanks, Kenneth and Baukje Clark of Goldsboro, NC., Gary and Ann Clark of Sullivan, Stanley and Johnnie Walker of Shelburn, Donnie and Tina Walker of Dugger, 23 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Patti was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Moose Lodge, enjoyed being outdoors, and was employed by Raybestos Power Train. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Holmes Memorial Chapel from 4:00 until 8:00pm, and services will be Thursday at 2:00pm with Rev. Brock Black officiating. Interment will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan.
