Peggy Joyce Cole, 83, of New Lebanon, passed away on Friday March 31, 2017 at IU Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Greencastle on July 28, 1933 to William "Butch" and Ruth (Knight) Morris. She was a 1952 graduate of Sullivan High School, was a member of New Lebanon Methodist Church, OES Chapter 185, Frances Rebecca Lodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Cole, a son George Randal Cole and a sister Patty Pinkston.
Survivors include her daughters, Vicki McKinney, Brenda (Ray) Smith, Linda Land, Joyce "Pidge" Cole (Manny Riveras), brother Larry Morris, 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchldren.
Services will be at 11:00 am on April 4, 2017 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Barbara Allen officiating. Visitation will be on April 3, 2017 from 4-8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon.
