Phyllis Mason, 65, of Shelburn passed away unexpectedly at her residence. She was born in Sullivan on March 21, 1949 to William "Bill" and Lucille McCammon Crooks. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she loved quilting, crocheting and her real passion were for her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all of the lives that she has touched. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Troy Mason on December 12, 2010, a sister Connie Crooks and a brother Mort Crooks. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Allen Mason whom she married on August 4, 1967, a daughter Tori Wible of Shelburn, three brothers Jack (Jane) Crooks of IL, Wilbur (Rhonda) Crooks of Shelburn, Joe Crooks of Terre Haute, a sister Sharon (Roy) Lamb of Terre Haute, six grandchildren, Haley Riley, Tayler Mason, Alexis Shipley, Sydney Wible, Morgan Mason, Rylee Mason, one great grandson Blaine Jacob and several special friends and other family members. Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday May 22, 2014 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Ransford officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery.
