Porter Stumph

Porter Stumph, 86, of Sullivan , passed into eternal life in the comfort of his home, on Wednesday August 7, 2024. He was born on May 8, 1938 in Indianapolis to Porter and Fannie  Smith Stumph. He was a  U.S. Air Force National Guard Veteran, who served his country proudly.

Porter, was a very dedicated family man, who took very good care of  his family up till the end. He was a hard worker who never complained or shirked his duty. He was a self employed mechanic and loved to tinker with anything mechanical. He enjoyed time spent with his family, watching the birds and his 5 beloved dogs.

He is preceded by his parents, his wife, Eva Stumph who preceded him in 2012 along with siblings, Charles Stumph and Elizabeth J. Marshall.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Mark Stumph, Deva Dann, Daniel (Desiree) Angela and Robert Brown (Brandy Sandoval); great-grandchildren,  Bane Brown , Faith Van De Wouwer, Joshua Van DeWouwer and Landyn Simmons.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Pogue Cemetery, Fairbanks IN. with Pastor Jeff Fulk officiating.

Holmes memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
