Ramona Metcalf

Ramona Metcalf 68, of Sullivan passed away on September 24, 2017 with her family by her side, at Cobblestone Crossing of Terre Haute. She was born in Sullivan County on August 23, 1949 to Marvin Jones and Norma (Dozier) Jones. She was a 1967 graduate of Sullivan High School, a member of the First Baptist Church of Sullivan, a Sunday School Teacher and had been involved with the Bunco Club. Ramona's love was for her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 46 Years Bob Metcalf whom she married on December 31, 1970; daughters Julie (Todd) Wagers of Indianapolis, Jennifer (Travis) Rupprecht of Evansville, a brother Gary (Carol) Jones of Evans, GA, sisters Delores (Jim) Bell of Sullivan, Linda (Dick) Truax of Sellersburg, grandchildren, Lucas Wagers, Olivia Wagers , several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 27, 2017 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev Wayne Unger officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery. The family suggest that if friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
