Randall “ Randy” Lee Phegley, 68, of Carlisle answered the soft sweet call of Jesus to come home on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospice with his loving family at his bedside.

Randy entered this life on November 21, 1955 the son of Richard and Mary Jane McCammon Phegley. He was a 1974 graduate of Sullivan High School and went on to further his education proudly earning his Engineering Degree from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. He then went to work for the State of Indiana and was a dedicated employee for 40 years with the Indiana Department of Transportation.

He married his life partner Carla Williams on July 28, 1990 and together they raised 2 children and spent 34 years of sharing life together. He was an avid 4H member in his high school years and earned his 10 year member status. He enjoyed and stayed up to date with the latest politics, enjoyed anything Star Trek, especially the movies along with studying and sharing Bible Prophecy.

His life revolved around his family and church family, Assembly of Christ in Bloomfield IN. He cherished every precious moment he spent with each of them. When the call to come to his eternal rest, he graciously and with open arms accepted.

Those awaiting his arrival at the Heavens Gates were his parents; child, Baby Phegley and his sister, Kathrine “Kathy” Phegley.

Those here with lifetime memories to cherish are his wife, Carla Williams Phegley; children, Jason Phegley (Hannah Lett) and Lanessa Mullens (Matthew); grandchildren, Tyler and Josiah Mullens along with nieces and nephews, Nathan Browning, Hannah Browning, Olivia Stallcop ( Elliot) , Emily Williams and Abby Williams.

Services will be on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with visitation from 11 am. until time of service at 1 pm. with Pastor Carl E. Williams and Nathan Browning officiating.

Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle IN.
