Randy Glen Jackson

Randy Glen Jackson, 69, of Jasonville passed into eternal rest at his home on April 2, 2025. He began his life journey on July7,1955 in Terre Haute, Indiana.  He was the son of Melvin and Juanita Pedigo Jackson. He graduated and obtained multiple degrees from Ivy Tech Community College. He was a longtime coal miner, also owning and operating a construction business.

Randy was known for his unique sense of humor and personality. He was always one to make you smile. His love for baseball and being a die hard Cubs fan was unmatched. He enjoyed spending his spare time fishing with his son’s and grandchildren. You could find him tinkering with autos, both repairing and restoring, coon hunting and enjoying rides with family on his side by side. He was a devoted husband, dad, papaw and brother. His love for his family was unwavering.

His family left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cynthia Poore Jackson; children, Brandon Jackson (Amanda), Michael Jackson, Chance Jackson (Kelsey) and Amber Rigsby; siblings, David Jackson, Susan Marcus and Kathryn Bouton (Ric) along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be at Westside Church in Sullivan, on Tuesday, April 8,2025 from 11:00 am. until time of service at 1:00 pm. with Pastor Jason Jones officiating.

Burial will follow at Friendly Grove Cemetery in Lewis, Indiana
