Randy Joe Schofield

Randy Schofield, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born September 29,1959, Randy dedicated his entire life to the things he loved most, his family, his work, and the outdoors.

Randy was the proud owner of Randy Schofield Timber, carrying on a lifelong tradition that began with his father, Hubert Schofield. Following in his father’s footsteps, Randy spent his entire career as a logger. He took great pride in his work and in the life he had built through hard work, determination, and dedication.

Outside of work, Randy was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved being outdoors. He also loved traveling and vacationing with his family. Some of his favorite memories were made on beach vacations in Florida, where he could relax, enjoy the sunshine, and most importantly, spend time with the people he loved. Randy was always up for an adventure and never needed much convincing to try something new. Whether at home, in the woods, on the water, or somewhere new with his family, he cherished every opportunity to make memories together.

Above all else, Randy was a family man. Time with his family was what mattered most to him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. His family was his greatest pride and his greatest legacy.

Randy will be deeply missed by his wife of 47 year’s, Donna Schofield; his children, Brandi Smith (Tyler), Jennifer Simmons (Paul), Randy Schofield (Brittany), and Kandi Kaufman (Jessie); his grandchildren, Hannah Simmons, Hailey Patrick (Michael), Keilie Kaufman, Lane Simmons, Owen Schofield, Ryan Kaufman, Kade Schofield, and Beau Smith; and his great-grandchildren, Lakelynn Webb and Roman Spires.

He is also survived by his siblings, Judy Enstrom, Linda Steele, Sandy Ashby, Jackie Dollahan, Dink Schofield, Kathy Gott, and Lori Padgett, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and others whose lives he touched.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and June Schofield, his brothers, Eldon and Joe Schofield, his great-granddaughter Auburn Webb, and his nephews Rick Enstrom, Duke Schofield, and Jon Hines.

Randy leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, adventure, and family. The lessons he taught, the stories he shared, the memories made in the woods and on the water, the family vacations, and the countless moments spent together will live on through the generations.

He will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.

Services to celebrate a well lived life, will be on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with visitation from 11:00 am. until time of service at 1:00 pm.

Pastor Jason Jones will be officiating.
