Raymond "Ray" Mccammon

Raymond “Ray” McCammon gained his Angel wings on Friday, May 9, 2025 at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis, with his loving family at his side. Ray was the son of the late Herbert and Mary Lou Wesner McCammon. He began his life journey on November 20, 1950. He was a 1968 graduate of Sullivan High School.

Ray was well known from his many years with, Sullivan Housing Authority. He served as lead maintenance, at all locations. He married his life partner, Eva Thompson McCammon on October 21,1978.  Ray attended Abundant Grace House of Prayer.  He enjoyed the outdoors, bingo and watching sports. He was most importantly a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather.

His parents preceded him, along with a brother, Robert McCammon.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Eva; children, David McCammon (Lisa), Stacy Brooks (Doug) and Travis McCammon; grandchildren, Ashley Lennings, Whitney Lennings and Sierra Lennings along with bonus grandchildren, Craig and Eric Jensen and Leighlin Hendrix, along with several great-grandchildren.
