Rebecca Murray

Rebecca Murray left this earthly life behind on December 4, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She began her life journey on November 19,1943 in Muncie, Indiana the daughter of the late James Oscar Murray and Dorothy Rosella Ayers Murray. She was a 1962 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School, she continued her education earning her undergraduate at Indiana University and her Masters degree at the University of Oklahoma in Social Work.

Rebecca spent her last years living in a home, lovingly built by her son in-law and grandson. She enjoyed spending quiet time reading, the Bible was her favorite book to read. She enjoyed attending Kingsley United Methodist Church. Her favorite time was the precious time she spent with family.

Those preceding her are her parents; husband, Joseph Paradise, along with siblings, David and Marsha.

Those here to cherish her memory are her son, Andrew Hall (Rosy) ; daughter, Lisa Hall (Eric); siblings, James, Richard, Linda and Cathy; grandchildren, Leif, David, Vicente and Alexandra, along with several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Cremation was chosen per her wishes. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.

Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
