Ricki "Rick" Joe Killion

Ricki Joe "Rick" Killion, 70, of Sullivan, slipped into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Rick began his life journey on September 1,1954 in Sullivan County, born one of 7 children, to the late Bill and June (Mason) Killion.

He was a 1974 graduate of Sullivan High School.

Rick was a well known and well respected mechanic, his knowledge and honesty in auto mechanics were just a small portion of who he was.

His love for cars began at an early age and lasted his lifetime. He was employed by Chevy as a Certified Chevrolet Technician for 30 years. After his retirement from Chevy, he owned and operated Killions Auto for 11 years. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church, where he was always eager to lend a helping hand to others. He also enjoyed volunteering at Our Fathers Arms.

Rick was a loving dedicated family man. He married his loving wife and life partner, Julie Suttles on October 1,1994. Rick never passed up the opportunity to lovingly pester Julie, and those around him. He was the king of jokes, his joke material was endless, and he kept a library of back up joke books… just in case he ran out ( his library was never used, he never ran out of material). He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed metal working. His greatest pride in life was his family. He cherished the time spent with each of those he loved. He leaves eternal memories etched in the hearts of each.

He was greeted at Heavens gates, by his parents; brother, Steve Killion and nephew, Dillion Killion.

Those here to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Julie Killion; children, Hollie (Nate), Max, Kristen (Andrew) and Rocky (Natasha); 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren along with siblings, Randy, Allen, Nancy, Becky and Debbie; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The family invites you to join them in celebrating Rick's life, on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm with Minister Jason Suttles officiating.
