Robert Boyll

Robert L. Boyll, a loving husband, father and grandfather of Farmersburg took his place in the Heavenly choir on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at his residence. Bob was born in Sullivan County, to Elza and Rilla Davis Boyll on November 20, 1941. He was a graduate of North Central High School, class of 1960. After graduation he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. On July 14, 1972, he married the love of his life, Hazel M. McAnally. Together they lovingly enjoyed life and raised their family. Robert was a retired truck driver with various companies over the years. He was past president of the Sullivan County Gospel Association. Bob enjoyed spending time tinkering with small engines and various things. Most of all he cherished the time spent with family, his grandchildren lovingly named him “PawPaw”. His greatest treasure in life was his family. His presence will leave a void in the lives of those who loved him.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Elza and Rilla Davis Boyll. Sibling, Webb, Loren, Wayne, Lawrence, and Margret Ann Boyll.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Hazel M. Boyll. Children, Wayne and Jenn Boyll, Mike and Donica Boyll, and Charlotte and Ryan Parr. Grandchildren Jocie and Micheal, Mya and John, Megan and Isiah, Heidi and Wyett, Lee, Bo, Kenzie. Great Grandchildren, E’Lara and Lilly. Brother Jerry Boyll and several Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at the Farmersburg Community Church on Thursday, May 9, 2024. With visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Meyers officiating.

Burial will follow at Nyes Chapel Cemetery.
