Robert Richard Cutsinger

.Sullivan, formerly of Terre Haute Robert Richard Cutsinger, 91, of Sullivan, formerly of Terre Haute passed away on Monday February 27, 2017 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Sullivan County on August 14, 1925 to Roy and Bertha Euna (Street) Cutsinger. Robert was a 1943 graduate of Pimento High School, an Army Veteran of WWII, a man of Faith, God and a steward of the Church; The former East Glenn Assembly of God. He was employed at Quaker Maid and retired from Rose Hulman. He is preceded in death by his parents his loving wife Velva Jean (Palmer) Cutsinger in 2007, and a daughter Sharon Faye Cutsinger in 1987. Survivors include his daughter Robin (Rick) Stanifer, a brother George Cutsinger, grandchildren Dustin (Stephanie) Stanifer, Andrew (Linzy) Stanifer, Shad (Mary Bell) Stanifer. Five great grandchildren Ariel Stanifer, Cooper Stanifer, Eleanor Stanifer, Gavin Dale Stanifer, and Jacob Stanifer. Services to celebrate Roberts Life will be held on Wednesday March 1, 2017 at the former East Glen Assembly of God 1851 Chamberlain Rd, Terre Haute from 1-4:00 p.m. Private grave side services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your home of worship, or the Vigo County Search & Rescue team; via the Vigo County Emergency Management Agency. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. The family would like to thank Roberts's second family, Breckenridge Health and Rehab for their loving care, the last years of his life. You are truly family.
