Sullivan, IN Robert Maurice Dyer, 90, of Sullivan passed away peacefully at Breckenridge Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 3:30pm. He was born in Davies County on November 7, 1924 to Ermil and Jesse Watson Dyer. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Lois Dillingham Dyer, daughters Susan (Randy) Smith and Edie (H.D.) Dyer-Wilson, sisters Phyllis Smith, Rose J. Moss, Carolyn Copeland and Sharon Marquis, grandchildren Thad Smith, Mindi Jennings, Anna Wilson and Hunter Wilson, Great-Grandchildren Rhett, Rhagen, Mattie, Samantha, Levi and Eden, and Great-great grandchildren Carter, Benson and Iris. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother Bill Dyer. He was a dedicated family man, a lover of flowers and gardening and a 50 plus year member of Sullivan First Baptist Church. After retirement as a Maytag repairmen for 30 years, he was a floral-designer for Services Greenhouse, and a sackman at Angell's Food Store in Sullivan. Visitation will be Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, and from 10:00am until time of services on Monday at 2:00pm with Revs. Ron Riggs and Wayne Unger officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery
