Robert L "Bob" Miller, 68, of Sullivan passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2016 in Indianapolis. He was born in Sullivan County on April 9, 1948 to Elmer Curtis "Nip" Miller Sr. and Emma Helen (Cox) Miller. He was a 1967 graduate of Sullivan High School and an Army Veteran having served in the 9th infantry during the Vietnam War. Bob was a Self Employed Contractor and had retired from the State of Indiana in the Homeland Security Code Enforcement. Preceding him in death are his parents, a brother Elmer "Nip" Miller Jr, and a sister Iona Miller Boone.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years Peggy (Reed) Miller whom he married on May 7, 1971, a son Robert Lee Miller II and his wife Cindy of Indianapolis, two daughters Susan (Stan) Adkinson of Sullivan, Holly (Tom) Dubree, sisters Mildred "Sis" Miller Stapler of FL, Jeanette Miller Bedwell of Sullivan, sister in-law Linda Miller of Sullivan, nine grandchildren Jordan Adkinson, Justin Adkinson, Jayme Adkinson, Austin Dubree, Kaylee Dubree, Javin Dubree, Lola Miller, Sadie Miller Robert Lee Miller III, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at The Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev, Mitch Hoesman and Wes Bedwell officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery. Military Honors will be given by the Hymera, Shelburn, Sullivan American Legions and the Sullivan VFW. The family suggest that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Brown Baggers, envelopes will available at the funeral home.
