Merom, IN Robert L. Wilson, 75, of Merom, IN. passed away in his residence at 6:03pm March 28, 2014. He was born April 20, 1938, in Muncie, IN. to William Russell and Ruby Ridge Wilson. Survivors include wife of 39 years Penny Neighbors Wilson, daughters Tamy Crockett, Gayle Geiger and Terra Callahan, sons Rodney, Robert L. II and Mark E. Wilson, sisters Mary Lutton and Jewell Kolcheck, eight grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, a son Michael Wilson, sisters Jean Gilbreath and Linda Black, and brothers John and Jerry Wilson. Visitation will be Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm in Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan, IN., with a memorial service at 5:00pm. His love for bluegrass music will be on display throughout the afternoon. A committal service will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Merom at 2:00pm.
