Rudy Thrasher

Elder Rudy Thrasher, 67, of Paragould, AR, went home to be with Jesus, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. He was born in Paragould, AR on August 15, 1950 to Cleo Basel Thrasher and Eva Belle (Gibson) Thrasher. Elder Thrasher was an established Minister of 52 years beginning at 10 years of age, and was the founder of Apostolic Lighthouse of Paragould, AR. He also pastored Soul's Harbor Church in Shelburn, IN and The Lighthouse Church of Columbia, TN. Preceding him in death are his father, step father Bill Hayes and grandchild Brittney.

Survivors include his wife Marshia (Ivy) Thrasher; sons, Pastor Darrell (Krysti) Thrasher, Pastor Darren (Kimberly) Thrasher, Bryan (Channah) Thrasher, Devon (Rachel) Thrasher; daughter Denita Clouse, brothers Gary, Kenneth Thrasher; sisters Lavina Holt, Carolyn Hayes, Teresa Hayes, grandchildren Jenessa, Austin, Jevon, Carson, Darrien, Jaydon, Landon, Jaylee, Madelyn, Victoria, Kaden; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Soul's Harbor Church in Shelburn on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 3-8:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Paragould, AR. Arrangements have been entrusted to Holmes Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Soul's Harbor Church in Shelburn and marked for Sister Marshia Thrasher.
