Sally Anne Vaught, 93, of Sullivan passed away peacefully into the arms of her heavenly father on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Marion County on March 28, 1932, to Clint Cunningham and Auline Rieber Cunningham.
Sally was a longtime Hairdresser in Sullivan County for several years, having worked from home and at Millers Merry Manor. She attended the West Side Church of Christ for many years; was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to shop. One of her passions in life was taking care of the elderly patients at the nursing home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Vaught, and a brother Max Cunningham.
Survivors include her sons Chris (Jennifer) Vaught, Danny (Rhonda) Tucker, sisters Judy Ketchem, Patty Maddox, grandchildren, Chloe Vaught, Preslee Vaught, Rylee Vaught, Lisa Tucker Ridgeway, Lori Tucker, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the graveside in Center Ridge Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, with pastor Jason Jones officiating. The staff at Holmes Memorial was honored to serve the family.
