Sharon Adams

Sharon F. Adams, passed to her eternal home on Monday June 19, 2017 at her residence in Shelburn, IN, surrounded by her family and her beloved pugs, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Sharon was born June 5, 1947, in Terre Haute, IN to Merrill (Fay) Lake, and Cecil Kirkham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Merle, Donald and Gail. Sisters: Delores (Maxine) Bedwell, Barbara Gallivan, and Shirley Leberman, her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and her husband, Jerry D. Adams.

Survivors include her children: Rex (Melinda) Adams, Remington, IN. Joe Adams, Shelburn, IN, Michelle Adams (Fiancé Aaron Reeves) Eldorado, IL. Grandchildren : Adam Klaus, Oxford, IN, Faith "Charlie", Marianne, Grace Adams, Remington, IN. Brothers: John Kirkham, Gerald (Barbara), several nieces and nephews, and special Niece Rena (Stephen) Kress, whom she dearly loved. Sharon was a member of Farmersburg United Methodist Church, whose congregation she adored.

Services will be at the Farmersburg United Methodist Church, at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Pastor Jeff Blansett officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation is scheduled, her ashes will be sprinkled on her husband's grave at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist with cremation costs and other expenses.
