Shirley Buckingham

Sullivan, IN Shirley Rose Buckingham,79, of Sullivan passed away at her residence at 1:20pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was born April 27, 1937 in Terre Haute to Oscar and Avalena Thompson Minger. Survivors include her husband Jerry Buckingham, daughter Lora Gaddis, sister Margaret Showalter, grandchildren Kevin Hayes, Robert Hayes and Anikah Buckingham, and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, a son Jerry Allen Buckingham II, a sister Betty Ogborn, and a brother Jack Minger. Shirley was a member of the Shelburn United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, May 12 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm with Kenny Bolinger officiating at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, IN.
