Sue Ann Brough, 79, of Sullivan, slipped peacefully into eternal rest surrounded by those she loved, on Monday, June 8, 2026. Sue began her life journey on March 19, 1947 in Rockville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Raman and Eloise Lientz. She was a graduate of Wiley High School class of 1965. She married the love of her life, Darrell Brough on July 12, 1968.

Her life was built around her family. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She enjoyed spending time making memories with her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed reading a good book and camping at Lake Sullivan, where she enjoyed campfires and the friendship of other campers.

Preceding her are her parents; siblings, Monte Lientz and Diane Daugherty.

Those here to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Darrell Brough; beloved children, Kristi Abriani (Ryan) and Kim Shafer (Scott); grandchildren, Trent Shafer (Katie), Emily Abriani-Brown (Jameson) and Brooke Shafer (Brendan Murphy); great-grandchildren, Bowen and Brewer Shafer, along with a sister Myla Kay White. Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation and services to celebrate a life well lived, will be on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Holmes Memorial Chapel. A time of remembrance and sharing memories will be from 11:00am. until time of service at 1:00pm. Burial will be at a later date.
