Susan “Susie” J Holbert, 76 of Sullivan passed away on January 16, 2024 at The Waters of Sullivan.  She was born in Sullivan on April 2, 1947 to Willard “Hop” Sparks and Lorie (Corner) Sparks. Susie was a 1966 graduate of Sullivan High School, had became a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a member of the Sullivan 1st. Baptist Church, a member of the Sullivan Eastern Stars Chapter 188 and a member of Rebeccas Lodge. Susie really enjoyed her activities in the lodge and held several positions there. Susie loved to sew and clean houses for people.

Survivors include  her children, Michael Holbert, Lori Ann Sweeney, sister in-law Nancy Sparks a grandson Daniel Holbert, and several other family and friends.

Service's will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday on January 20, 2024 at Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 am. until time of service with pastors Mike Miller and Ben Weathering officiating. Burial will be at Merom Cemetery.
