Terry Ashba, slipped into eternal rest on March 5, 2026 . He was born on September 20, 1952 in Sullivan, to the late Emma Edwards Collins and James Elmer Ashba. He was a 1971 Union High School graduate. Terry was a lifelong truck driver, enjoying many hours over the road. He also enjoyed attending Abundant Grace House of Prayer.
He was always ‘Mr. Fix it” that could always fix anything . He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed watching westerns, fishing, bowling, euchre and playing pool. He was always willing to help out a friend with his mechanical abilities. Terry was always one with a joke and a smile to all he was in the presence of. He loved his family and was proud of his children and grandchildren.
His parents precede him, along with siblings, Carol Ebling, Helen, Franklin Joe, Jim and Charlie Ashba.
Those here to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rita Ashba, children, Joe Ashba, Brad Ashba (Trey Teague) , Jacob Dehler, Sarah Dehler and Rachel Wible (Anthony); grandchildren, Cameron Ashba, Gracelyn Bennett, Greher Bennett, Margot Wible and Reese Wible ; siblings, Rose Pearison, Buck Edwards, Jack and Bob Ashba along with Dave Collins; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Cremation was chosen with a celebration of life at a later date.
Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
