Thomas Michael “Mike” Anderson, 73, of Sullivan, passed into eternal rest on July 5, 2026, surrounded by those he cherished. He began his journey in life in Sullivan, Indiana. He was the son of Jackie and Barbara Anderson. He was a member of the 1970 Class of Sullivan High School. He married his devoted wife Susan Colo on August 28, 1971, she precedes him.

He began his career with Local # 439 as an Ironworker that spanned 45 years. He earned the name “Spot” with his fellow workers for always watching and being an attentive boss. He was a member of the Sullivan American Legion post #139. “Hoss” as he was known to many , was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and all sports. He was a former coach for T Ball, Little League and All Stars. The name “Pa”, was his proudest title, he was a devoted husband, Dad, Pa, brother and friend. He always had your back no matter the circumstance, you knew you could count on him. His devotion to his family knew no boundaries, his pride and love for each was immeasurable.

He is preceded by his parents; wife, Susan Anderson, and brother, Steve Anderson.

Those here to cherish his memory are his children, Chad Anderson (Amy), Stacy Walton (Garrick) and Kelly Jo Odom (Jeff); grandchildren, Jacquelin Horsely ( David), Mylie and Brody Walton and Ginger and Levi Odom. Along with several extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate a well lived life will be on Friday, July, 11, 2026 at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with visitation from 11:00 am. until time of service at 1:00 pm. with Minister David Lisman officiating. Burial will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery.
