Thomas Pearison

Thomas L "Tom" Pearison, 76, of Sullivan passed away on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on March 31, 1942 to Matthew Pearison and Sylvia (Cox) Pearison (Hill). He was a carpenter and had worked for the United States Postal Service and was a member of Abundant Grace Church. Tom was a family man who enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, trapping, hunting, farming and collecting. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Tammy Dawn, brothers Jim and Jerry Pearison, a sister Beverly Raley, and a great-grandchild Braxton Woodruff.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Rosetta (Ashba) Pearison, whom he married on July 2, 1963; sons Thad Pearison, Tom (Jerri) Pearison, Troy (Shannon) Pearison, Todd (Sherry) Pearison, daughter Toni Reed, brother Randolf Hill, sisters Paulette Walls, Sonya Hauger, Celia Peek Flater, Shelly Robertson, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday December 3, 2018 at Abundant Grace Church, with Rev Roger Losch officiating. Visitation will be on Monday at 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements, burial will be at Johnson Cemetery.
