Timothy J. Mann

Timothy J. Mann, 61, of Farmersburg, passed away peacefully at his home on July 12, 2026, after celebrating his birthday surrounded by family and friends. Born on July 12, 1965, Tim spent his final day doing what he loved most—sharing laughter, conversation, good food, swimming, and making memories with the people he cared about.

Tim died of natural causes and left this world in the same way he lived—with those he loved close by.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert "Bob" Lee Mann Sr. and Barbara Rochel-Burns.

He is survived by his siblings, Robert Mann, Sonya Mann, and Gregory Rochel; his stepsister, Michelle Willis; his stepbrother, Michael Willis; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Tim never met a stranger. His infectious laugh, generous spirit, and gift of conversation made everyone feel welcome. Whether catching up with old friends or meeting someone for the first time, Tim had a remarkable ability to make people smile.

A talented cook with a passion for feeding others, Tim loved preparing meals using cherished family recipes handed down from his grandmother, Wagner. Sharing food was one of the many ways he expressed his love, and family and friends always knew they would leave his table with full hearts and full stomachs.

Tim was proud to be self-employed and fulfilled a lifelong dream by operating his food cart, Munchies. Although declining health eventually led him to sell the business, he never allowed life's challenges to define him. He continued to live with grace, optimism, and a smile that inspired those around him.

He was especially grateful for the love and support of his close friends, including Heather Price, Beth Rotramel, Jerry and Stacy Wasnidge, and Angie Gaskins, as well as many others whose friendship meant the world to him.

Tim also treasured his beloved pets—his Shih Tzus, Winston and Peyton, and his cherished cat, Linda—who brought him comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.

In keeping with Tim's wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Family and friends will gather at a later date to celebrate his life at his beloved American Legion in Farmersburg, a place where he shared so many wonderful memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Parkinson's disease research or to a local animal rescue organization, two causes that were especially close to Tim's heart.

Though he is gone from our sight, Tim's kindness, laughter, generous heart, and unforgettable spirit will live on in all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
