Timothy J. Mann, 61, of Farmersburg, passed away peacefully at home on July 12, 2026, after celebrating his birthday surrounded by family and friends. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, those who knew and loved Tim will forever remember a man whose kindness, generosity, laughter, and love for others touched countless lives.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bob" Lee Mann Sr., and his mother, Barbara Roshel-Burns.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Mann; his sister, Sonya Mann (Melanie); his brother, Gregory Roshel; his sister, Michelle Willis; his brother, Michael Willis; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who became family.

Raised in a proud family of restaurateurs and entrepreneurs, Tim developed his love of cooking and serving others at an early age. His family's legacy in the restaurant industry began with the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Terre Haute, a tradition that was carried on through generations. Watching his family work hard, welcome customers like old friends, and share good food inspired Tim from a young age. The treasured recipes passed down from Grandma Wagner and the example set by his mother, Barbara Roshel-Burns, helped shape the man he became.

That lifelong passion eventually became Tim's own dream when he proudly owned and operated his beloved food truck, Munchies. It wasn't just a business-it was the realization of everything he had learned growing up in his family hospitality tradition. When declining health forced him to step away from Munchies, it broke his heart, but it never diminished his love of cooking or caring for others. He continued preparing meals for family and friends whenever he could, always finding joy in feeding the people he loved.

Tim truly never met a stranger. His warm smile, quick wit, and generous spirit made everyone feel welcome. He loved swimming, grilling, relaxing around a bonfire, and spending time with those he loved most. His faithful companions-his Shih Tzus, Winston and Peyton, and his beloved cat, Linda-brought him endless comfort and companionship.

The family would also like to recognize Tim's three favorite musketeers-Heather, Beth, and Chris-whose friendship, laughter, and unwavering support meant the world to him.

A proud member of the Shelburn American Legion, Tim cherished the friendships and fellowship he found there. A Celebration of Tim's Life will be held at the Shelburn American Legion at a date and time to be announced.

Tim's story was never just about how he died-it was about how beautifully he lived. His legacy is one of love, laughter, hard work, kindness, and bringing people together around a table. He leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever and a life that reminds us all to be generous, welcome everyone, and never miss an opportunity to share a meal, a smile, or a story.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew him.
