Tom Netherlain

Tom Netherlain, 77, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017 at Glenburn Home in Linton, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents Dal, Gladys and Betty Netherlain, and a twin brother Jerry.

He is survived by his children Jerry A. (Lori) Netherlain of Farmersburg, Doug Netherlain of Jasonville, Kevin Netherlain of Westfield, IN and Torey (John) Stevenson of Wilfred, IN. Three sisters Mary Lou (and the late Keith) Quick of Terre Haute, Sharon J. Agner and LoAnn (Bobby) Trowbridge both of Shelburn,IN. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Tom lived in California for many years where he was a welder in the ship yards. His lifelong passion was music and he performed throughout Southern California with his band. His other interest included fishing, computers, and photography. He maintained a lifelong friendship with Joe and Beverly Lezarraras, and their daughter Rachel, San Diego, California. He was a retired Ironworker.

Visitation hours are Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am in Holmes Memorial Chapel of Sullivan. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
