Tyler Clidienst

May 21, 1988 — February 2, 2019

Tyler Clidienst, 30, was born in Washington, Indiana, raised in Sullivan, Indiana, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, and passed away at the hospital in Norfolk on February 2nd, 2019. He was the son of Mike and Jan (Bedwell) Clidienst. He graduated from Sullivan High School in 2006 and was a lifelong member at Westside Church of Christ. He joined the Navy in August 2009 and received many awards while serving in the Navy. He was an Aviation Machinist Mate 2nd Class. Tyler served our country proudly in many ways. He went on 4 deployments and would openly share his love for serving our country. He would declare, "Merica".

Survivors include; his parents Mike and Jan of Sullivan, girlfriend Lexie Smith of Sullivan, a sister Shelly (Eddie) Teepe of Sullivan, 2 brothers Nick (Jennifer) Clidienst of St. Louis, Missouri, Mike Clidienst of Sullivan, grandparents Jeanette Bedwell and Joan Clidienst both of Sullivan and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He will be flying into Indianapolis Friday, February 15th at 6:45pm. He will be escorted to Sullivan Holmes Memorial Chapel. His route will be I70 to US41. Visitation will be at the Westside Church of Christ on US41 and Airport Rd, Saturday, February 16th from 2:00pm until 6:00. Services will be at the church, Noon on Monday, February 18th. The services will be led by his uncles, ministers Curt and Wes Bedwell. Immediately following the service, the procession will go from the church north on 41 past the Sullivan County Community Hospital, south down Section St. to Johnson Street to his final resting place at the Center Ridge Cemetery.
