Virginia (Courtright) Schmehl

Virginia Schmehl, 66 of Sullivan passed away on Sunday February 23, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Sacramento CA, on January 18, 1954 to Raymond Merele Courtright and Shirley Marie (Murray) Courtright.  She was a 1972 graduate of Highlands High School in North Highlands CA., loved to garden and loved all animals. She had been a member of Central Baptist Church in Sullivan.   She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Maxine Bennett Courtright and a niece Koletta Rose Tatom and a nephew Steven Zachary Byrd.

Survivors include her son Norman (Gina)  Heifner of Peoria, AZ., daughters Annie Lear of  Hartford WV., Rebecca Walker of Santaguin UT., Amy Heifner of AZ.,  brothers Raymond Courtright of Sullivan, James Courtright of Chowchilla CA.,  sisters Shirley Tatom of Sullivan, Donna Murray of CA., Denise Duckett of OR., Di Di  Mendoza of ND., Freya Guiterrez of ND.,  several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services to celebrate her life will be on Friday February 28, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church North Court Street with David Simpson officiating. Holmes Memorial Chapel has assisted the family with arrangements.
