Wallene Cox

Wallene Cox, 99, of Sullivan, passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018 at Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville. She was born in Graysville on January 5, 1919 to Enoch Kelley and Naomi (Crowe) Kelley. Wallene was a member of the First Christian Church, a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority and an active member in her community helping out with the Girl Scouts. She was preceded in death by her husband Gabriel Cox in 1996 and a granddaughter Kelley Bledsoe.
Survivors include her daughter Karen and her husband Mike Bledsoe of Farmersburg, grandchildren Cary (Connie) Bledsoe of Loogootee, Cindy (Raymond) Ferree of Sullivan, great grandchildren Evan Ferree and Hayley Ferree.
Services will be held at the grave site in Center Ridge Cemetery at 3:30p.m. on Thursday April 12, 2018 with Rev. David Cox officiating.
