William Bill Powell, 71, of Sullivan passed away on Saturday October 22, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Sullivan on May 25, 1945 to Don Powell and Virginia (Harlow) Powell. William was a 1963 graduate of Sullivan High School, a member of the Sullivan Masonic Lodge and an honorably discharged Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his son John (Mary Beth) Powell of Sullivan, a daughter Amy (Pradip) Patel of Terre Haute, aunt Freida Gaylor of Sullivan, grandchildren Jerika Powell, Erik Powell, Justin Powell, Kayleigh Sims Meera Patel, Neela Patel and a great grandchild Kale Powell.
Cremation has been scheduled. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. www.holmesmemorialchapel.com
