William D. Ward 77, Shelburn passed away peacefully at his home on August 4, 2016. He was born on March 14, 1939 in Shelburn to Anna and John Ward. He joined the Navy on March 6, 1959 and was honorably discharged on September 25, 1961. After the Navy, he married Judith A. Snyder on December 29, 1961. He worked hard to have everything he had. Bill retired from Wabash Mine. He attended church and was a member of the Emanuel Apostolic Church of Hymera, and also of the Shelburn American Legion #197. He enjoyed every bit of life with family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 53 years, an infant daughter, Nancy Jean, grandson Jason R. Kimmell which he shared a special bond, 3 brothers Herbert Ward, John Ward Jr., Eddie E. Ward, 5 sisters Charlotte Dodge, Norma Ward, Jackie Cody, Evelyn Scott, and Nellie Wilson. Survivors include one brother Jim Ward and 3 children Lori Hauser, William Jr. and wife Sharon, Edward Ward and wife Debbie, grandchildren; Kristal and Matthew Hauger, David and Brandi Ward, Jonathon and Jackie Ward, Stanley Ward Ashley Ward, Sean Ward, Great-grand kids; Ryan Snow, Kaitlyn Padgett, Jaylee Padgett, Sheyanne Hauger, Alison Ward, David Jr. Ward, Johnathon Jr. Ward, Jason Ward, Jackson Ward, Wyatt Ward, Winston Wilson, Esther Russell, Axle Ward, and several nieces and nephews. Services for Bill will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Emanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera with Pastor James Quick officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.

Services for Bill will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Emanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera with Pastor James Quick officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Little Flock cemetery. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
