William Bill Zink

William (Bill) Irwin Zink, 81, of Hymera entered eternal life on May 22, 2024, at his farm. Bill was welcomed into this world on December 1,1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born to John Irwin and Jean Adliza Sharpe Zink. After college he went on to work in the Graphic Design field to design artwork for Walt Disney Studios and Woodburn Graphics to name a few, and later went into marketing at Pittman Moore as Vice President of Marketing then finishing his career in sales with Jewett Printing. Bill enjoyed his career in graphic art, one that allowed him to share his creativity and talent.

Bill loved his hobbies, community, and family; he enjoyed spending his spare time collecting and restoring International Harvester tractors and memorabilia, hunting for treasures at a good auction and watching a classic western. He was an avid classic car enthusiast and member of the No Name Car Club. Bill was a long member of the Hymera Ruritan Club, the National Exchange Club, Jackson Township Board, Hymera Town Board, and represented the Republican party as an Indiana Republican precinct committeeman. Above all he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded by his parents, wife, Martha Lee Zink on May 8, 1998, a daughter, Cary Rochelle Crawford on April 7, 2012, and one grandchild, Pierre Goetz on January 30, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jermyn (Bill) William Zink and wife Tracy Ellen Zink, Trevor Lee Zink and wife Jessie Zink and Christopher Martin Zink; brother, Lee Edward Zink and grandchildren, Lauren Smola, Byson Crawford, Katie Crawford, Victoria Lanouette, Sebastien Goetz Olivia Goetz, Ally McAndrews, Wyatt Zink, Luke Zink, Logan Zink, and Paisley Zink

Services will be at Holmes Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Interment will follow at K of P Cemetery, Hymera IN. A gathering of friends and family will take place immediately following at the Hymera Ruritan Club at 2:00 pm for refreshments and the sharing of memories.
