Willis "Bunny" Lengacher, 77, of Sullivan passed away on Wednesday March 16, 2016 at Millers Merry Manor. He was born in Davies's County on June 15, 1938 to Henry Lengacher and Sarah (Wagler) Lengacher. Willis was an X-ray Technician for Union Hospital for over 36 years; was a member of Crossroads Community Church and a volunteer for the Sullivan County 4-H Fairgrounds. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister Katie. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Betty (Elsey) Lengacher whom he married on September 29, 1962, two daughters and their husbands Dee (Pat) Fulford, Teresa (Tim) Wilson both of Sullivan, two brothers Ezra and Henry Jr, eight sisters Rachel, Ida, Viola, Martha, Mary, Laura, Sarah Mae and Rosie, three grandchildren Elizabeth (Nathan) Wible, Britney Riggs, Kyle Wilson, two step grandchildren Logan Fulford, Samantha Fulford, two great grandchildren Madilynn Wible, Carter Wible; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Services for Willis will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 19, 2016 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hammond Officiating. Visitation will be on Friday 4-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Center Ridge cemetery. The family suggest that if friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to the SHS Fund Class of 82, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
