Wilma Nadine Shank, 88, of Sullivan, passed away at Millers Merry Manor on Sunday August 3, 2014. Wilma was born in Montezuma IN on January 17, 1926 to Leonard and Grace Gertrude (Guinn) Rennick. She was a 1944 graduate of Montezuma High School, a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to fish, hunt and was an excellent cook. She was a wonderful provider for her family having been employed at Terre Haute Regional Hospital as a dietician. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Wayne Earl Smith, her second husband John Shank, a son Jackie Lee Smith, a daughter Cheryl Darlene Higgins six brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her daughter Kathy Harrington and her companion Mike Norris of Sullivan, a son Donald Wayne Smith of Stockton CA, three sisters Joann (Donald) Williamson, June Broady, Carolyn Devins, four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Services for Wilma will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 5, 2014 at Holmes memorial Chapel with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg.
