Winona Ruth Howard

Winona Ruth (Monroe) Howard, 62, of Shelburn passed away on Sunday October 18, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Spokane WA on December 19, 1952 to William and Beverly Jean (Shelton) Monroe. Winona was a nurse and a member of Southside Gospel Church of Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her mother. Survivors are her father and his wife Betty, her husband of 43 years Roy Howard whom she married on December 28, 1971, three children Harold Lee (Lorie) Howard, Tyra (Laz) Vu, Duane (Crystal) Howard, four sisters Elizabeth (Larry) Comer, Valerie (Tony) Trotter, Vivian Marnin, Andrea (Clarence) Abbott and grandchildren Amber, Baelee, Dillian, Michael, Karrsyn, two step-brothers and two step-sisters. Grave side services will be a 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 24, 2015 at Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Following the services, a celebration of life dinner will be held at Northwood Baptist Church at 306 W. Northwood Dr. Sullivan, IN
