Bernice Storey

Bernice L. Storey, 90 of Shelburn, passed away on December 26, 2020.

Bernice was born March 7, 1930 to Cyprain Peyronet and Erma (Noel) Peyronet.  She was predeceased in death by her husband Rev. Martin W. Storey; her parents; one brother Joe Peyronet, and sister Mary Jo Johnson and Roseanne Drake.

Survivors include her two sons, Paul (Janet) Storey of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Marty (Linda) Storey of Terre Haute, Indiana.  Five grandchildren, Tommy Storey, Rebecca Gentle, Travis Storey, Jason (Sean) Storey and Jenni Storey along with two great-grandsons, Andre Gentle and Joshua Gentle and several nieces and nephews.

Bernice had a love of cooking and entertaining which served her well through the years as the wife of a minister and beyond.

Family graveside services are pending at a future date.  Internment will be in Dugger, Indiana.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Shelburn United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.  Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
