Betty Virginia Wells, 77, of Shelburn passed away on Sunday November 17 at Breckenridge nursing home in Sullivan. She was born on March 31, 1942 in Yuma AZ to Thomas W Mulvihill and Helen M (Easter) Mulvihill. She retired from Pfizer. Betty was very proud of her American Indian heritage.
Betty was a member of the Ebenezer Church, ran the concession stand for the Shelburn Ball Park for years, was an original member of the Board of Directors for the Brown Baggers, and president of the Park Board for several years.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 23, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Blansett officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg.
