Don Dubree, 77, of Sullivan passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born in Sullivan, Indiana on December 22, 1942, to Clarence and Mary (Cox) Dubree. Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Don was a barber for 58 years, a bus driver for Southwest School Corporation for 33 years. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing with his friends, hunting, fishing, golfing and a card carrying original member of the Shifter’s Car Club. Preceding him in death are his parents, and his first wife, Norma, who died in 1991.
Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Sanders Dubree, his sons, David (Heather) Dubree, Tom (Holly) Dubree, Zac (Raigen) Dubree, daughters, Lori (Kevin) Frazee, step daughter Heather VandeZande, sisters, Delora Mayfield, Diana Harris, Dixie Love, nine grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.
Services will be on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox and Rev. Tim Leuking officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery, Sullivan. Holmes Memorial Chapel were entrusted with arrangements.
