Doris Elaine Wolfe

Doris Elaine Wolfe, 60, of Terre Haute, RAN into the arms of her heavenly father on September 23, 2023.

She was born on November 5, 1962 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of John and Sara “Sally” (Bovenschen) Wolfe. Doris loved attending Maryland Community Church, being with family and friends, spending time doing crafts, special olympics, and traveling with Exceptional Getaways.

Doris is preceded in death by her mother and brother Michael Wolfe.

Survivors include her father, sister Mary Lou Simpson (Steven) of Greenwood, IN, brother David Wolfe (Tina) of Edwardsport, IN, and half sister Tempera Hanes (Chris) of Vincennes, IN. As well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday September 30, 2023, at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan, IN with Pastor Ken Bovenschen officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Indian Prairie Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, “In-memory” donations can be sent to Special Olympics or Exceptional Getaways.
