Ernest Arnold Obituary

Ernest Jay Arnold, 47, of Sullivan, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2020 at Union Hospital. He was born on February 4, 1973 in Sullivan County to Randy Arnold and Jody (Grimes) Arnold.  Jay was a 1992 graduate of Sullivan High school,  loved music and playing his guitar; was a avid sportsman and outdoor lover. He will be remembered for his love for his family and friends. Jay was preceded in death by his father and his step father who raised him, Charles Ashba.   

 

Survivors include his mother Jody Ashba of Sullivan,  his wife LeeAnn (Bedwell) Arnold, whom he married on November 26, 2013; sons Jayson Arnold, Dawson Beard, Korbyn Beard, a daughter Roni Arnold, brothers Chris (Kacy) Arnold,  Scott Arnold both of Vincennes, sisters Sierra Reed of Sullivan, Christy (Scott) Racey of Carlisle, a special uncle Bob Grimes of Sullivan, several cousins, nieces and nephews. 

 

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday March 20, 2020 at Abundant Grace House of Prayer with Pastor Tommy Peairson officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  The family suggest that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may to the Funeral Home to help with final expenses.  Holmes Memorial Chapel has assisted the family with arrangements. Burial will be at Dugger Cemetery.
