James Lee Campbell, 83, of Hymera, passed away on May 30, 2020 at Mulberry Nursing home in Mulberry, IN. He was born in Hymera IN., on May 5, 1937 to Floyd and Iva (Martindale) Campbell. James was a 1955 graduate of Hymera High School, was a member of the Shiloh Assembly of God, the Silver Dollar Spinners Square Dance Club, Gold Wing Motorcycle Club Chapter Y, and worked at General Electric in Linton for 37 years. He also was a part time farmer, built his own home, and took a Gold Wing trip to Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Rhuanne (Colvin) Campbell, son Steven (Brenda) Campbell of Jasonville, a daughter Teresa (Tab) Boaz of West Lafayette, a brother Mike (Sherlyn) Campbell of Hymera, grandchildren Brittany, Avery, Derek, Austin, Ashley, Kristen and 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m., on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Hymera Knights of Pythius Cemetery, with Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Attendees are asked to wear masks.
The family requests that Memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
