Jon Jeffery Hunt

Jon Jeffrey Hunt, 56, of Foley, AL formerly of Evansville, IN passed away on August 11, 2022, at his home in Foley where he lived with his father. He was born on March 17, 1966, in Evansville, IN, to Jack Earl Hunt and Barbara Jane (Storey) Hunt. Jon was a 1984, graduate of William Henry Harrison High School and a graduate of Lincoln Tech Institute in Indianapolis, IN. He was a mechanic who loved to work on automobiles, especially restoring them with his father. Jon was employed by Wink Construction in Evansville for over 20 years. He was an avid cyclist, both mountain & road, an amateur smoker of meats, and enjoyed playing pickleball with his close friends. He loved any chance he got to camp and experience the outdoors, especially on a kayak. He also was very active in the Leisure Lake Homeowners Association and was beloved by his family, friends, and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Alaina A. (Shelton) Hunt.

Survivors include his sister Lora Ann (Hunt) Goudreau, brother in-law Steven M. Goudreau, and nephews & niece, Kyle M. Goudreau, Tyler A. Goudreau, and Kelsey E.Goudreau.

Services for Jon Jeffrey Hunt and his father Jack Earl Hunt, will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday August 20, 2022 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Cox officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
