Kenneth Charles Miller, 74, of Shelburn passed away on Friday April 14, 2023, at his home in Shelburn. He was born in Canandaigua New York, on February 1, 1949, to John Miller and Doris (Ball) Miller. Kenny was a United States Army Veteran, a loving husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather. He had worked for the town of Shelburn for several years. Kenny was a Volunteer Fireman for over 50 years and he enjoyed helping others in their time of need; it was a big part of his life and he was so proud to serve his community. He had started his firefighting career with the Richmond Fire dept. in New York where his father had been the chief, and continued to serve for the fire service throughout his life. Kenny also loved going to the lake to fish and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of ( 47 ) years Elizabeth ‘Liz” (Cascini) Miller, whom he married on ( July 26th ), a son Anthony Miller and his wife Sara, daughters Leslie Cascini, Randi Miller and her fiancé Juan Castillo, Brodee Norris and her husband John, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild with one on the way.
There will be an end of watch ceremony on Saturday, April 22 at the Thunderbird station in Shelburn to honor his life long service.
Services to celebrate Kenneth’s life will be held at a later date by his family and friends.
