Larry Rudy, 67, of Shelburn, passed away at his home on February 23, 2022. “Rudy” has shed his mortal body to go on to whatever comes next. He was born on March 6, 1954 to Lloyd Eugene Rudy and Mildred J (Pearison) Rudy Smith.
He was a teller of tall stories and a poet of sorts, never lacking some prose or a rhyme to share with friends or family in a letter or note. He was also a talented artist and loved to doodle, whittle, and tinker. Rudy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting, and listening to good music. He lived rough and loved rough. He will be missed by his daughters Shawna and Heather, their children, and his great grandchildren as well as other extended family and friends. “Bother me tomorrow, today I’ll buy no sorrow. “Doo doo doo", lookin’ out my back door”
Services to celebrate his life will be at a later date. He will be buried next to his mother at Little Flock Cemetery.
