Linda (Hollis) Norris

Linda Norris, 70, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday March 4, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 29, 1951 in Sullivan county to Bob Hollis and Rosie (Shepherd) Hollis.  Linda was a 1969 graduate of North Central High School and has worked at Columbia House for 30 years and then had worked at Walmart.  Linda was also a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending all of her free time with them as well as cooking for all of the family dinners.  She enjoyed collecting Longenburger baskets and dolls. Preceding her in death are her parents and a sister Judy Coleman.

Surviving are her loving husband of 51 years John Norris whom she married on September 5, 1970, sons Doug (Beth) Norris of Terre Haute, Daniel (Cassie) Norris of Shelburn; grandchildren, Peyton, Nikos, Hezekiah, Alex, Zach, DJ, Jessalyn, Breannah, Spencer and Shelbilyn Norris, great grandchildren, Annamarie Lee, Brodee Ramsey and Makaylee Ramsey.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 8, 2022 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Julie Puttman officiating.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be at Little Flock Cemetery.
