Lois Eileen Ring, 98, of Hymera, passed away on August 8, 2019, at Millers Merry Manor, in Sullivan. She was a Civil Service retiree. She was born on March 7, 1921 in Hymera to Albert Terry and Myra (Abbott) Ring. She graduated from Hymera High School and attended Indiana State Teachers College. She attended the Bethel Methodist Church in Hymera.
Survivors include two nephews, Larry Joe Springer of Vero Beach, FL, Paul Terry (Linda) Cochran of Albuquerque, NM, two great nieces Kelli and Katie Cochran of Albuquerque, two more great nieces Lisa and Bly Springer of Vero Beach, two great nephews John (Tanya) Springer and Bradley (Julie) Springer of Vero Beach, one great great nephew Thomas Patrick and three great great nieces, Mallorie, Chandler, and Mackenzie Springer all of Vero Beach. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Marjorie (Ring) Springer, Mary Ring Cochran, one nephew Jack Norman Cochran.
She retired from Civil Service with 29, years to her credit. Her favorite hobbies were scrap books, money coins, postage stamps and flowers. She was a member of Frances Rebekah Lodge, AARP, and Civil Service Retirement.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of services. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
